The magic words “Alakazam, Alakazing, the power of our mind is a magical thing,” contains the theme of this transformation myth in story, song, rhythm and rhyme. The show is also available as a readalong singalong story book. The production plays in English, Afrikaans and isiXhosa.
I can’t think of a better way to show students what creativity around stories can mean and how exciting learning can be …a breath of fresh air for them.
The energy, thoughtfulness and creativity in your show was breath-taking– It appeals to ‘children’ of all ages and the words and music are so clever and appealing. You have really created a unique suite of teaching resources – words, music, creativity and thought. – Debbie Botha, Wits School of Education
