Sisonke Art Productions
Sisonke was formed 2010 by Fikile Nkosi from Pretoria, Herbert Mokoena and Tshepo Mahlangu, who were later joined by Themba Nxusa as Artistic Director. We have since attended festivals nationally and have been awarded and rewarded for our professional displays. We began with traditional dance, traditional music, pantsula dance, gumboot dance, and drama in 2010 and then from 2011 we started to do a lot more industrial theatre. We have performed our short plays around Witbank. 2012 is a year in which we have grown, and we are now entering the world of film. Our first movie is entitled “Mina no Baba“.
