Brown Coin Art Production (North West)

The company was founded in 2005 and is run by Papiso Keogatile and Thabo Mabaso. It is based in Two Provinces which is North West and Free State. Papiso is responsible for running the North West office and Thabo is responsible for the Free State. The company has members in both provinces. The company works closely with the community around events run by the municipality in both provinces. Brown Coin creates performances based on the theme of events that are organised by the municipality. Brown Coin Art Production is currently a Mentee of the ASSITEJ South Africa Theatre4Youth Mentorship Programme. This programme is supported by UNESCO’s International Fund for Cultural Diversity (IFCD) and the UNESCO 2005 Convention on the Protection and Promotion of the Diversity of Cultural Expressions
