ANEX THEATRE PRODUCTIONS is a professional theatre company based in Cape Town. It was founded in 2005 by Margot Wood as a result of her involvement with the training of young actors where she identified the need for a platform for young performers to showcase their talents and gain experience in a performance situation.

The Company initially focused on the performance of contemporary classics and works on the prescribed lists of schools and universities, so as to introduce young audiences to a high standard of dramatic texts.

The Company’s production of Athol Fugard’s People are living there was awarded the prize for Most Outstanding Production at the Fugard Festival in 2010
